While there isn’t much to putting a dryer on, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure our day runs smoothly and safely.

1. Check your settings. It’s important to put the dryer on the right settings. If you don’t, it could result in a backlog of laundry piling up. So ensure you follow the directions to put it on the most economical and quickest setting.

2. Check the water catcher. The water catcher fills up after every load. This needs to be checked and emptied. If it is full, the clothes will not dry. You can pull it out and empty it in the sink next to the dry before replacing it again.

3. Check the lint filter. Regularly check the lint filter for lint. Lint in the filter increases chances of fires starting. Place the lint in a bin, not on the laundry bench.
